Generates a received
data vector
of specified symbol length, corresponding to the current parameter
settings.
Is specified in
symbols. If the
spreading code is 31 and the chosen Length of Received Data is
1000, then the received data will be contained in a vector of length
31*1000.
Figure 4.5: (a) In-Cell user power distribution (b) In-Cell
user delay distribution (c) and cross correlation of user 3's
spreading code with other in-cell users at zero delay. This
figure was generated from the System Parameters window by
choosing View Properties.
Figure 4.6: (a) Channel Impulse response of user 3 (b) pulse
shaping filter (c) and frequency response of user 3's
channel. This figure was generated from the System
Parameters window by choosing View Properties.
Graphically represents the properties of
the user specified by View User. The properties that are
represented are
power of in-cell users
relative delay of in-cell users
Cross Correlation of View User's spreading
code with the other in-cell users at delay zero,
channel impulse response of View User
pulse shaping filter
channel frequency response of View User
Examples of the plots generated from View Properties
are shown in figures 4.5 and 4.6.
Calls the control window
responsible for saving and loading the system parameters. See
section 4.3.3.
Closes the system parameters window. As a
result, the changes you have made to the default parameters
will be lost unless you saved them before pressing
Done. The received vector and necessary information for
simulating the detectors is not affected. Therefore, you can
still run simulations once you have closed the System
Parameters window.
This window informs you if you have made
an invalid parameter choice, or when received data is being
generated, or if parameters have been changed since you last
generated data.
The six random seed buttons control
the seeds used to generate the respective components. If you
want to generate the same data every time, then click these to
the off position. Otherwise, leave them in the default
position of 'on'.
