The purpose of this chapter is to present some examples using the Matlab simulation software to verify properties of the linear detectors discussed in chapter 3. These examples are provided in detail so that they can be reproduced if so desired. I examine the performance of the fixed detectors under different system parameter settings and provide explanations for the results. For the adaptive implementations, I examine their convergence under different conditions. (Note: All Squared Output Error plots contain a horizontal dashed line which corresponds to the minimum MSE calculated for the specific user and delay.)
