There are certainly some features that could be implemented, but were left out of the first version of the software. One important feature would be the development of time varying channels to test how well the adaptive receivers can track the time varying interference. Another option might be to have users entering and leaving the system, to see how well the receiver adapts to time varying multiple access interference(MAI). These dynamic events would require more computing power due to the nature of the computations. Other features might include higher order modulation schemes including 4-QAM, 16-QAM, 8-PSK, etc. Certainly, more adaptive algorithms including recursive least squares(RLS) and minimum output energy algorithms could be implemented in the software package.
