This movie shows the evolution of the cost surface for a system where
the SNR decreases roughly logarithmically from 50 dB to 1 dB, and then back to 50 dB
(e.g. 50, 30, ..., 1.5, 1, 1.5, ..., 30, 50). The system parameters are as
follows:
- A 2-tap fractionally spaced equalizer is used.
- The channel impulse response is given by c=[0.2 0.5 1 -0.1]'
- The source is BPSK.
- The x-axis is the equalizer tap with index 0 and
ranges from -4 to 4. Similarly,
the y-axis is the equalizer tap with index 1 and
ranges from -2 to 2.
